Well hello again.  I did bake for my son for his Valentine’s day party at school.  I didn’t get any pictures because I just make a simple sugar cookie in the cut out of a heart.  I didn’t even ice them.  See I’m having issues with my rotator cuff and my shoulder is killing me.  Guess how I hurt the shoulder????? It’s funny as heck.  The doctor who is a cake decorator herself believes I hurt it while making my son’s fondant back in January. LOL Can you believe that???? I was like no way, she said my injury is a repetitive motion injury and stirring, rolling and kneading fondant is repetitive. LOL  I was like great…I’m now officially old if cake decorating makes me hurt my shoulder. LOL  So it’s off to PT to get better.

Ok here is the cake I baked for my Mom’s 65th Birthday.  It was a chocolate devils food with raspberry filling and chocolate/raspberry buttercream.  It looked really nice until I went to move it and stuck my finger in it  LOL.  It’s shiney cause I put some silver luster dust on it.  the luster dust did not come out the way I wanted it to.  I really need to start baking and practicing this more so I can get better.
