Romance….

How do you get the romance back in to your relationship? Why does it go away to begin with? Why does life get in the way of stuff? I want to be pursued, I want to be cherished and made to feel like I’m special. Is this to much to ask? How do you keep the romance alive when you are not living together? As you know from my blog, Big Daddy is away ALOT! And there are times that it is very hard to keep things romantic and special. It seems like a wave with is, the ups and downs. I just try really hard to do special things for him, because it usually means he’ll reciprocate in some way. The more effort I put into our relationship, the more he does. When he’s gone, that usually means chatting on the phone when he has a few free moments and frequent text messages. When he’s here, I make his favorite meals, I reach out to him more to hold his hand or put my head on his lap if we’re watching TV or something. I might send him a spicy email or even text message if he’s in another room.
Its not easy. But, its a ride I wouldn’t take with anyone else.
